4 Haiku About Waiting

Sixteen months waiting-
Firewood shed overflows.
Get me out of here.

Four hands now to count
Clouds take form then float away-
Winter not yet here.

I suck at waiting
vitamin D seems to help
though sun is best

Winter coming on
it could happen anytime now
snow or referral

So lovely. And spot on. I love how reading your words places me for a second in a snapshot of your life.

Here's one:

I know the wait is cumbersome and you pine
Hang in there, Planetista querida
I love how you put winter and sun in your last two posts
This isn't haiku, cause I'm fucking lazy and can't think
Your words are beautiful
I had horrendous road rage tonight so it was awesome to read them when I got home

I'm new to your blog after our mutual friend Christine linked about us all being in the same waiting boat. I love these haikus! The "get me out of here" line made me laugh out loud, and there hasn't been a lot of LOLing going on for me lately - so thanks for that!
